Calm complacency

Well I have ignored all too many times that I have a powerful insight I have from God to post. Tonight I am going to post then sleep, despite my body's desire for the opposite.

I am shocked after a simple and probably childish example of complacency, how much I was unaware of spiritually. I tend to have a full scan method when approaching my bathroom, because when I forget I find a centipede or large for our state spider. But I realized how quickly I forget to take a couple seconds to scan before entering, which made me realize if all that were spiritual, it follows pattern for all too fast we become complacent to Satan's minor lies that can add up quick.

We have been told to stay alert to Satan's schemes, because God realized how easy it is to go from alert to complacent, and from complacent to apathetic. See much like looking to ensure some bug I don't like might not fall from the ceiling on me, or run across my unsuspecting foot, we need to look for Satan's tricks rather than keep our time from God. Many this gets as simple as reading devotionals or bible daily to the one day you can't find a way to make time in your personal busyness, that continues as pattern when your pattern had been the opposite until then. It takes one day to break a good habit, but 21 to break a bad one.  I think there are many other small ways we can trip, due to forgetting to simply be alert, but I also think we don't need to stay asleep for 21days before we choose to snap out of it and go back to what we know to be right.
